October Edge schedule has something for everyone

Tricks are the treats at October Edge

September 19, 20255 min read

No Halloween sugar rush can beat the buzz of fly catches, somersaults, and aerial spins and drops. At October Edge, the tricks ARE the treats!

Like the popular Easter Edge, the October edition is a chance for the Aerial Edge community to gather, welcome new friends, and spend a weekend doing what we love most.

It’s the same Edge format that you know and love: four workshops each day, in the arts you choose. That consistency over the three days is what makes the magic happen. You’ll feel your progress session by session as the skills click into place.

And because this is Aerial Edge, we make sure it’s the best possible value too: £200 for the full three days, with world-class teachers to inspire you.

Whether you’ve trained with us for years or this is your very first Edge, you’ll leave with new skills, new friends, and memories that stick.

Spaces are limited – come join the fun and book your October Edge ticket here.

Check the schedule to figure out which arts you want to choose. Booking for the tracks will open two weeks before the festival.

Why October Edge?

  • Top-tier teachers – Learn from Aerial Edge’s experienced instructors plus special guest Jason Brügger, an internationally acclaimed straps artist.

  • Community & joy – Join a festival atmosphere where fun is guaranteed and every workshop is a chance to grow.

The arts & teachers

Guest Straps instructor – Jason Brügger

Jason brings artistry, strength, and inspiration to October Edge. After overcoming a debilitating ear condition that almost ended his career, Jason went on to win Switzerland’s Got Talent and perform internationally.

His teaching focuses on solid technique, personal style, and confidence-building, ensuring every student finds their unique strengths.

This is Swiss-born Jason’s first time in Scotland and a pilgrimage to the city that was home to his great-grandparents.

Don’t miss the chance to learn from one of the most exciting aerialists working today.

Flying Trapeze – Hamish, Doretto & Jonah

Flying trapeze is in EVERY track this October! With Hamish, Doretto and Jonah, you’ll have the dream team on lines, catching, and pushing you to the next level.

Train consistently for three days and see just how far you can fly (you might want to order some chalk and hand guards…)

Rope – Nea

After training intensively in Barcelona for the last few months, Nea returns with a fresh toolkit of rope techniques, from classic climbs to dynamic releases.

Her teaching is playful, detailed, and physically challenging. This is a great chance to sharpen your rope game and discover new ways to move.

Silks – Nea

Silks with Nea means wild drops, beautiful wraps, and brain-twisting sequences. She loves combining creativity with strong technique, helping you find both artistry and power on the fabric.

Whether you’re refining the basics or ready to expand your repertoire, this track will keep you inspired.

Hammock – Kerri

Aerial hammock is endlessly versatile, blending grace, stillness, and dynamic power. In these workshops, Kerri guides you through elegant poses, fluid sequences, and creative drops.

A supportive environment makes this track great for all levels, whether you’re trying hammock for the first time or adding finesse to your practice.

Tippy Hoop – Kerri

The hoop with a mind of its own! Tippy hoop tilts, swings, and wobbles in ways that challenge balance, timing, and creativity.

Kerri’s track makes the unpredictability fun, building your confidence until you’re dancing with the instability instead of fighting it.

Expect laughs, breakthroughs, and a whole new relationship with the hoop.

Acrobatics – Sam

Sam’s acrobatics sessions are all about clean technique, safe progression, and high-energy fun. Whether you’re working on rolls, handstands, or dynamic tumbling, Sam will help you build a strong foundation while pushing your limits.

Perfect for anyone who wants to boost body awareness and add powerful new skills to their circus toolkit.

Trampoline – Sam

Bounce, twist, and fly with Sam’s trampoline workshops. These sessions use the trampoline as both a training tool and an art form, teaching control, height, and body awareness.

Expect a mix of fundamentals, dynamic moves, and transferable skills you can apply to aerials and acrobatics alike.

Partner & Group Acro – Julia & Robyn

Julia and Robyn are experts at making human pyramids, balances, and counterbalances feel achievable and fun. Their partner & group acro track builds trust, teamwork, and big new tricks.

Chinese Pole – Edd

Expect sweat, grip strength, and dynamic slides with Edd’s pole workshops. Whether you’re learning your first climb or chasing flares, Edd brings clear technique and circus flair.

Static Trapeze – Freya

Freya’s creative trapeze work fuses dynamic swings with fluid transitions. Her teaching style is supportive and challenging – you’ll leave with stronger skills and new ways to move on the bar.

Doubles Trapeze – Mark & Yara

For those ready to fly with someone, Mark and Yara’s doubles trapeze track offers strength, timing, and partnership. Expect to build trust and learn tricks that look as beautiful as they feel.
